Florence Stamps
The Assignment
The goal was to draw inspiration from Florence to design a set of stamps. When I first explored the city, the architecture really caught my eye so I wanted to incorporate it into my final design. The pictures below were some of the pictures I originally pulled ideas from.

First Draft
I eventually decided to use the blueprints of famous basilicas in Florence. I chose to feature Santa Croce, Duomo, and San Lorenzo. My struggle with this idea was that I added too much detail. I wanted to make the designs intricate and detailed but when printing the stamps, the details won't be clear.

The Results
Moving forward, I decided to take out most of the details and use solid shapes instead of lines. I also made sure that aspects such as circle sizes and text placement were consistent in each stamp.

Here is the final product! These were displayed at our final showcase.
